Profile
Coming from a background in Mechanical Engineering I have combined my thirst to understand both why and how things work with my passion for dogs. As an owner of a dog with chronic pain, I made it my mission to deeply understand her body and use gentle manual therapies to assist her in leading her best life. I have found that through specialising in canine biomechanics it has helped not just my dog, but the many dogs I have treated over the years with a range of issues.
The modalities I currently offer can be beneficial for both mechanical and emotional disfunctions. The WEBB practice is kind and connected, it can be useful for; phobias (such as storm phobia), trauma, anxiety, over or hyperarousal and identifying and treating hidden pain. The Bowen therapy is used for strategic fascia release, which can be useful for; past injuries/surgeries, stiffness, soft tissue pain, over-exercising muscle soreness, soft tissue restrictions, or even to help keep your dog’s body in optimal condition.
Dogs can be very stoic and hide their pain, so don’t think you have to notice something serious before reaching out. Quite often even with the best-kept dogs it’s possible to find hidden pain or tightness and this is something I’m trained to assess and treat.
If you’d like to know more or book a session for your dog, then please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you
