Profile
Growing up the daughter of a country vet, I always had a keen interest in the welfare of animals. During my working life over the past 23 years, I’ve mostly helped people with their pain, anxiety and trauma. Now, working with the WEBB method, I’m combining my love of helping with my passion for animals.
With the close bond between humans and animals, I see how each has an effect on the other. For example, I’ve seen how an anxious human can contribute to a dog’s anxiety; how helping an animal release its pain and trauma can, in turn, help its human. I also support humans through issues that may be having a negative impact on themselves and their animals.
I currently foster dogs for a rescue centre. I use WEBB which has been invaluable in rehabilitating these dogs and making their transitions into ‘forever homes’ so much smoother. Often, when the dogs first come to me, they are terrified and anxious; using WEBB techniques allows them to release their pain, both physical and emotional. They can also release any trauma they are holding onto and, in turn, become much calmer and less anxious dogs.
I live and work in North Wales, UK. Appointments are available Mon, Tue and Wed. Other appointments are available by special arrangement.
