BEING REAL is an investment in your future

being real

BEING REAL unlocks all sorts of freedom, fun, and joy for your pets, and for you.

Being real! I wonder how real you are? Do you take a good, hard, honest look at you, and at your pets, and at your life, regularly? I do – and I have been for many years, since the end of my second marriage literally nearly destroyed me.  Some time during the recovery form that abusive, messed up relationship, I decided that I didn;t want to die wondering.

This simple decision set me on the path to being real.

Being real is all about being honest with yourself. Being honest about your strengths, your joys, what you love to do in life. Being honest about your weaknesses, your shadows, and where you need to grow. This is not only for you – it’s just as important for your pets. Are they too chubby? Overdue for a vet check? Need more walks, training, play time, or connection with you?

In my experience, being real is a doorway to so many good things. It’s led to me healing from CFS and lyme. Recording an album (you can listen to that here), moving into a truly healthy loving relationship. And so many more good things.

My beautiful animals have benefited so much. Over the years, I have done the being real thing when it comes to their food (Getting off all processed crap and too BARF), learning that most pets are horrifically over-vaccinated (so only giving them what they truly need), when it comes to training and handling my animals (moving far =away from aversive and into kind methods) – and the biggest, best thing, being real has been a big part of me creating the Whole Energy Body Balance Method, which now helps thousands of pets all around the world.

None of this would have happened if I hadn’t made being real a priority in my life. Like so many of the things I share with you on these pages, it’s simple, it’s highly effective, it makes a real and beautiful difference… But it’s not always easy.

Being Real- how to get started and keep going

The most important thing for me about being real is being willing to be uncomfortable. It’s kind of easy to avoid being real about things that we don’t want to know about, that are painful, or that take hard work to change. This is where the rubber hits the road. This is where you change your life, and your pets’ lives, for the better in so many ways.

But you can’t change anything if you don’t know where you are at, or where you want to go. Being real is your reality check. It’s good to sit down and get real with yourself about your life. You can start small and then work through a list, or sit down and brainstorm your way through.

Here are some categories.

Health

Balance in life

Work

Recreation

Relationships

Pets

Finances

Growth

Spiritual

That list is by no means exhaustive. The more you dig into being real as a way of life, the more you’ll find to explore. I encourage you to get stuck in, and then KEEP GOING

Another way you can put opening to possibility into practice is to come and learn Whole Energy Body Balance™ for Pets Bodywork for Pets. Not only will you learn how to find and heal your pet’s Silent Pain, Anxiety, and Trauma, but you’ll learn how to open to possibility as you explore therapeutic touch with your pets (who will LOVE IT).

Here’s a short video of me discussing this topic.
