LISTENING DEEPLY – healthy happy pets

listening deeply

LISTENING DEEPLY is one of the most important things I do, all the time, in my life and with my pets!

Listening deeply makes a real, positive impact in your life, and everything you do that makes your life better makes your pet’s life better too. It’s a skill. You need to learn and practice it. It’s a spcial kind of ACTIVE LISTENING, in which you seek to understand the needs and nature of whatever you are listening to.

Listening deeply starts with listening deeply to yourself.

Who are you?

What do you need?

How do you feel?

What do you need to change?

What are your dreams?

Are you in the right place?

Are you caring for and nourishing yourself, filling your cup?

These are just a few things to consider as you are listening deeply with yourself. The more you do this (and it’s often uncomfortable), the more you’ll do what you need to heal and grow. Your pets will benefit SO MUCH from this. They’ll have more of you, and you’ll be able to listen deeply to them better and better.

You first.

Your pets (and others with whom you are in relationship with, your community, etc) come next. Listening deeply to your pets will teach you how to love them better. It will also help you pick up when they need healp with pain, illness or anxiety WAY quicker.

Listening deeply – here’s how…

Somatic awareness, body awareness, is the most important way I practice listening deeply. The more I bring all of my awareness into my body, the more of me is here to listen, to understand, to open up, to deepen my relationships, and to be of greater service in this world.

It’s simple. Just keep on bringing all of your awareness into your body, and relax into and appreciate everything you are experiencing. As often as you can.

The more present you are, the more your deep listening gets stronger.

You start to hear your needs. Then you can act on them. And from this place, you’ll fill your cup better, and then be way more present and capable of listening deeply to your beautiful pets. They speak eloquently, but often in subtle ways. A slight hesitation before jumping on the couch could mean a world of pain in their body.

The most profound way that I’ve learned to listen deeply is through touch – loving touch, and therapeutic touch. Especially for my animals. This is why I created the Whole Energy Body Balance method – an every day pet massage that makes a real difference by helping you always find and heal your pet’s pain, anxiety, and trauma.

The practice itself helps me learn how to listen deeply more and more powerfully. And your pets will love it! Email to [email protected] if you’d like to learn (I’ve taught thousands of people how).

Whole Energy Body Balance naturally helps you listen more and more deeply to your pets. so you can help them when they need it!Our core practice in WEBB, the Somatic Embodiment + Energy Connection process, is designed to get you into the most powerful state of presence and connection possible. This then sets you up to do healing work with pets (or with people) in a way that nourishes and protects you.

I invite you to consider  Whole Energy Body Balance™ Bodywork for Pets. Not only will you learn how to find and heal you and your pet’s Silent Pain, Anxiety, and Trauma, but you’ll learn how to listen deeply as you explore therapeutic touch and energy healing with your pets (who will LOVE IT).
